At Colorado Roof Toppers we believe it is important to give back to the community. We have enjoyed many successes over the years and we really appreciate the support our local communities have provided to our business by patronizing us. Below are some of just a few of the local projects and events we have been a part of.
After two years of not holding the event, Berthoud Days was back on in 2022. We are very proud to have sponsored this fun event that celebrates all that is the Town of Berthoud.
Colorado Roof Toppers was a proud sponsor of the 2020 Estes Park Festival of Lights. The Catch the Glow parade that is held in Estes Park is always such a huge and fun event every year. Due to Covid, the Town of Estes came up with a very creative and popular alternative – a drive through parade. It was a huge success! So glad we were able to be a part of it.
2020 was a crazy year for those living in the mountains. We ourselves were evacuated from Estes Park as a result of the East Troublesome Fire. We learned so much about fire and how fires are fought from our local volunteer fire fighters. They are true heroes. So when the Glen Haven Area Volunteer Fire Department started raising funds for a new fire truck, we could not help but want to help them.
In partnership with GAF, Colorado Roof Toppers has been participating in Habitat for Humanity. Our involvement began in 2015, when we provided the labor for a roof for a multi-family home in Longmont. In 2016, our next involvement led to a new roof for a single-family home in Berthoud. For this activity, GAF donated roofing materials and we provided the installation work.
In 2015 and 2019, Colorado Roof Toppers helped to sponsor the 9News Health Fair which is held every year at Mead High School.
In the summer of 2019 we sponsored the Town of Firestone Food Flick Fridays.
We were sponsors for the 2017 Berthoud Snowfest.
In 2015, we were Diamond Sponsors for the annual Mead Community Days event. We have continued to sponsor the Mead Community Days off and on with varying levels of involvement.
When a hail storm hits Colorado, it attracts roof repair scammers. These fly-by-night storm chasers con homeowners and make off with their insurance money without doing the work. Every year we see the fly by night guys set up shop for a a few months and then leave town without doing the work. You can protect yourself by always using a reputable local company to do your roof repair work.
